Fellowship Of World Christians Launches New Online Social Networking Feature Called ’FAITH BOOK’

By Dan Wooding
Founder of ASSIST Ministries

LONDON, ENGLAND (ANS) -- "FAITH BOOK," a new online social network feature has been launched by British pastor, Michael Bassett, in London, England, as part of the Fellowship of World Christians.

Michael Bassett

Bassett told ANS, “Most of you are already aware of ‘My Space’ and ‘Face Book’ the online networking tools which have revolutionized the way business, friends and family can communicate freely today.

“I personally have not got my own ‘My Space’ or ‘Face Book’ as I saw it as only more time I would have to spend in front of a computer screen. I spend so much time on the Internet as it is replying to minister’s questions, business inquiries and of course my circle of friends and family along with doing web related stuff with websites. Like many of you my time is very valuable and I must make decisive choices as to where I am going to spend most of it.

“This is where ‘FAITH BOOK’ comes into the equation, for here I can communicate with like-minded people and still be active in the ministry - communicating, giving, receiving, learning, teaching and generally being a blessing to those I wish to further draw closer to me among my friends on the FOWC ‘FAITH BOOK’ NETWORK OF BELIEVERS.

“So let me encourage all of you to take a little time to check the CHRISTIAN CUSTOMISED COMMUNICATION TOOL and hopefully you also will see it as an important part of your continued outreach to your friends in ministry and in life and get involved.”

“FAITH BOOK,” which was launched on February 9, 2008, already has 322 members.

DECEMBER 2000
FELLOWSHIP OF WORLD CHRISTIANS LAUNCHES IT'S UNIQUE MINISTERS' ORGANISATION - LONDON, ENGLAND.

"On December 16th, 2000, the Fellowship Of World Christians officially launches a worldwide ministers' organisation with a difference.

"A time of reformation is upon us" says founder Michael Bassett. "God is now revealing His eternal purpose and allowing many to 'go on unto perfection' as stated in Hebrews 6:1. This is the element that has been missing from most ministries". Bassett goes on to explain, "It concerns the 4th Dimensional truths of Paul's Mystery Gospel. The challenge that will face ministers who know the truth will be to preach the uncompromised Gospel of the Grace of God, which is Christ's final revelation to His Church of the One Body and the message which only Paul received in full measure. It is our purpose and hope for ministers to share this message of grace to a new creation people - Christ the only life of the believer - of the ongoing 'In Christ' blessings independent of our performance in regards to the law".

Bassett, a minister of the gospel for almost 26 years, has returned to his London roots to launch this ambitious and exciting vision. "I am of the mind," he says, "that the Lord is speaking to His sheep to come out of the system of religion, which is men doing works for God to gain and sustain His acceptance of them. I see many sincere Christians fed up with the steady diet of works-related sermons, and are eager to hear life-giving sounds coming from the pulpits, about Christ alive in the believer, the only hope of Glory."

The approach FOWC will use to spread the word is to accommodate denominational and non-denominational ministers who desire to have like-minded fellowship. There will be no legalistic strings used to pull them together only the desire to know Him as all. "Our M.O. will be consistent with the principles laid out in Paul's writings, particularly the prison epistles, which most emphatically exposit his 'My gospel', as he called it. Emphasis will be on fellowship based on the Gospel that the apostle Paul preached - the message of grace without commingling it with law.

FOWC is located in London England, and has in only a few months extended membership to ministers as far away as Togo and Ghana.
